EASTER SCAVENGER HUNT AROUND THE HOUSE
Easter is quickly approaching and with it all the fun and games that kids love. That’s why I’ve created this FREE Easter Scavenger Hunt printable pdf to make planning so much easier.
An Easter Scavenger hunt on Easter morning is probably the one thing that all the kids look forward to. The hunt these days doesn’t look the same but that doesn’t mean it can’t still be fun. You may not be able to head out to your local farm or community center for the annual Easter egg hunt but you can certainly make your own one right at home.
These printable Easter scavenger hunt clues make setting up a surprise Easter treasure hunt way easier!
I’ve also made 2 different versions where one is a scavenger hunt with clues and one is more of a search and seek checklist for little ones who may not be old enough to decipher clues just yet. I would use the second type in my preschool, kindergarten, or early elementary classrooms.

HOW TO DO AN EASTER SCAVENGER HUNT WITH CLUES
Hopefully, these printables will help make the process of setting up your Easter scavenger hunt at home a little bit easier.
I’ve used fairly generic clues so that they should work for most people without having to tweak them very much. All the clues are places or things around your home so it’s easy enough to execute.
Simply print out the Easter scavenger hunt pdf with the 8 clues and cut them into individual cards. You can either print them on sturdy stock paper or glue them onto something sturdier like construction paper.
Then you have two options. Either put each of the clues in an individual plastic Easter egg or simply place the cards as they are in the specific locations.
Each clue is designed to send your little friend from one place to another and then finally leading up to the big reveal.
Have a special surprise Easter basket filled with all kinds of goodies as your prize at the final location. You could include things like:
Add a book too! I always read The Velveteen Rabbit with my class and it’s a hit every single time.
EASTER EGG HUNT RIDDLES FOR AROUND THE HOUSE
As I mentioned earlier, all the Easter scavenger hunt clues are for places or things you’ll find around the house and the clues themselves are fairly easy to decode so it’s perfect for most ages.
These activities are perfect for social distancing because all the Easter hunt clues are indoors.
Here’s a list of all the clues so you can prepare your hiding places. If you’d like to use your own clues, I’ll also include a blank template to fill out your own version (just scroll to the bottom of this list of clues).
Let’s have a treasure hunt, oh what fun! Let’s start with the place we leave our shoes when the day is done.
Hugs and kisses and Easter wishes! Your next clue lies among dirty dishes.
Happy Easter honey bunny! Bees come to me to make some honey. I sit on the ledge where it’s bright and sunny.
Eggcellent work! I’m rooting for you! Now, look under 4 legs for your next clue.
We love cute baby chicks and jellybeans. Now, check the place we go to get clean.
Almost done little bunny but let’s slow down and think. Where’s the place to get a nice cool drink?
Let’s skip, hop, and jump in the direction you can find your reflection.

EASTER SCAVENGER HUNT FOR TODDLERS AND PRESCHOOLERS
If you have a younger child, either a toddler, preschooler, or a kindergarten kiddo, you may find a scavenger hunt with clues might be too complicated so I’ve created a separate Easter treasure hunt just for them.
It’s super simple to play. Simply print out the toddler scavenger hunt PDF and try to find as many items on the list and check them off as you go.
It’s a fun activity you can do indoors or outdoors on a little Easter day walk. Have fun looking for flowers, Easter eggs, chocolate bunnies, chicks (the stuffed kind works just fine if you can’t head to the farm this year), and more!
