And best of all?

Why We LOVE Summer Would You Rather Questions

So why do we love a good “Would You Rather” game around here?

Because it’s the perfect combo of fun and sneaky learning—like hiding veggies in a brownie.

These silly questions get kids talking, giggling, and thinking creatively without even realizing they’re learning.

They encourage decision-making, spark imagination, and even help shy kiddos open up in a low-pressure way.

Plus, there are zero supplies needed (bless), which makes them perfect for poolside chats, long car rides, or impromptu backyard brain breaks.

Whether you’ve got a crew of curious campers or just one tiny human asking a lot of questions, “Would You Rather” is your secret summer sanity-saver.

Summer Would You Rather For Kids

If you’ve ever played “would you rather” growing up, then you probably remember it’s all about choosing between two options (sometimes silly or crazy options because it’s just more fun).

This is the summer themed version of that game.

Whether you call it Summer Would You Rather or Summer This or That game, it’s pretty much the same thing.

You can come up with your own wacky questions or have the kids or your campers create some questions.

In the classroom, I’ve had my kiddos write a question on a piece of paper and then crumple it up and toss it in our beach bucket.

Then I would draw a question and read it out loud. We would split the classroom area in half so depending on your choice, you would move to one side or the other.

Then we would pick a few people to explain their choices.

Or when we do this activity in smaller groups, I use this printable and have the kids talk about their choices in their groups.
